Upflow Filters
High-Capacity Media Cartridges for Taste, Odor and Chlorine Reduction
United Filters Upflow Series Filters are loose-filled media cartridges designed to provide effective chlorine, taste and odor reduction in residential, commercial and industrial water treatment applications.
Engineered with an upflow design, these cartridges allow water to enter through the bottom of the filter and travel the full length of the cartridge before exiting through the sealed end. This flow path helps maximize contact time with the media, supporting improved contaminant reduction performance and added capacity compared to conventional cartridge designs.

Upflow Filter Cartridge
The Upflow Series is designed to help water move efficiently through the entire media bed. Each cartridge includes a built-in 10-micron post-filter to help reduce the potential for fines or water bypass, while an internal expansion pad helps prevent channeling.
This design makes Upflow Series Filters a reliable option for systems where performance, contact time and consistent media utilization matter.
